Singer/songwriter Cindy Hughlett was at The Parlor recording studio in Nashville, TN recording tracks for her 11th album. The title of the new album is “There Is Peace” and it will contain some new songs written by Cindy and favorites.
The legendary session pianist, arranger, producer, and composer Ron Oates was selected to produce and arrange the tracks for Cindy’s new album with Tara Solomon Capps at his side as production assistant. Cindy worked with Ron on her previous album. Ron is a 50-year-plus music veteran and has worked with such greats as Dolly Parton, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Judds, Keith Whitley and many many others. The musicians on the tracks are some of Nashville’s finest and include, Gary Prim, Lonnie Wilson, Eric Darken, Dave Pomeroy, Tom Hemby, Bull Hullet, Wanda Vick and Dan Dugmore.
Cindy will complete her vocals in Lubbock, TX with Wally Moyers at Studio 84. Four-Time Grammy Nominated and Grammy Winning Producer Chris Latham will complete the final mix for the album.
A special treat on the album will feature an instrumental version of “Peace” by special guest Ron Oates.
Cindy has over 20 years of music ministry and her music career has been honored with accolades such Album of the Year, Female Vocalist and Song of the Year along and several Grammy Considerations. Add to those accolades multiple charting and Number One songs and a presenter at events such a the Inspirational Country Music Association Awards (ICM) at the Grand Ole Opry and Cindy’s own benefit concert series for The Texas Boys Ranch where concerts have featured T. Graham Brown, Marty Raybon, Richie McDonald, Bryan White and Jimmy Wayne.
