It was a historic night of celebration at the iconic Carnegie Hall in New York for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Dove Awards. The grand event was held on February 15th and included performances by Mark Lowry, Russ Taff, Natalie Grant, Danny Gokey, Donnie McClurkin and Hezekiah Walker along with a special 200 voice choir. The host of choir voices on stage also included Billboard charting artist, Sherry Anne.

“It was an incredible honor to be invited to participate in the 50th Anniversary Dove Awards Choir, singing behind Gospel Music legends and Multi Dove Award Winners. It’s been exciting to have my own work submitted for Dove Award consideration over the years, and to now sing at the Dove Award Anniversary Celebration concert at Carnegie Hall was absolutely thrilling.” commented Sherry Anne.

Sherry Anne is also a native to the state of New York and is responsible for hosting and drawing attention to the Southern Gospel style of Christian Music within the state. She has spear-headed the coordination of multiple concerts that included artists such as The Booth Brothers, Triumphant Quartet, The Hoppers and many others during the past decade.
